• Located at 27 King Street in Nottingham city centre, French Living is just a short walk from Nottingham Trent University’s graduation ceremonies, making it an ideal place to continue the celebrations with family and friends.

Booking Your Graduation Celebration

• Graduation dates are among our busiest days of the year, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time.
• We welcome graduation bookings Tuesday to Saturday, Lunch 12pm – 2pm & Dinner 5pm – 8.30pm
• For parties of up to 12 guests, reservations can be made online through our website or by giving us a call.
• For groups of 13 guests or more, please contact us directly by telephone so we can enter the booking manually, discuss your requirements and help organise your celebration.

Deposits & Payments

• A £10 deposit per person is required
• Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit is paid
• Deposits should be paid as early as possible to secure your date.
• Deposit policy:
  • Refundable if cancelled at least two weeks in advance
  • Transferable to another date if notified at least two weeks in advance
• The full deposit is deducted from the final bill (unless some guests fail to attend without prior notice)
• Deposits can be paid:
  • By card over the phone
  • By popping into the restaurant

Cancellations & Changes

• Cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance to receive a refund of the deposit
• Any change in guest numbers should be communicated as early as possible, so the kitchen can adjust orders and preparation
• Deposits for guests who are not cancelled before the booking time may be forfeited

Accessibility & Practical Information

• No parking is available on the street; disabled parking only
• Our only toilets are downstairs, not wheelchair accessible
• The downstairs area is accessed by stairs and is not wheelchair accessible
• High chairs are available on request

Menu & Prices

• There is no need to pre-order. You will be able to choose and order your food at the table from either our Menu du Jour or our À La Carte menu
• For graduation celebrations, we offer a set price on our Menu du Jour : 2 courses for £22 or 3 courses for £28
• Our Menu du Jour changes regularly and is updated daily on this page : Menus
• As a small token of congratulations, every graduate receives a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a special “Félicitations” dessert
• A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to your bill

Dietary Requirements & Allergies

• Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when making your booking
• Most dishes can be made gluten-free or dairy-free, often by adapting the sauce
• We do not serve gluten-free bread
• We offer vegetarian options and can accommodate vegan diets with advance notice

The Space

Depending on the size of your group and your requirements, graduation celebrations can be accommodated either on our ground floor or in our brick cellar dining room. Smaller groups of up to 12 guests will usually be seated upstairs unless otherwise requested, subject to availability and the needs of the service. Groups of 13 guests or more will generally be accommodated in our downstairs dining room

Semi-Private Space

• Our brick cellar dining room, where French Living first began, offers the feeling of being transported to France and can be semi-private
• As our only toilets are located downstairs, guests dining upstairs may occasionally walk through the room
• Depending on the group size and how busy the restaurant is, the space may be shared with other tables
• A fully private space cannot be guaranteed
• For groups of 14+, guests will be seated on separate large tables placed next to each other

Decorations & Special Requests

• Guests are welcome to bring flowers, small table decorations, balloons
• No confetti, No sparkling candles
• Corkage is not permitted
• Outside food or drinks are not allowed
