About us
French Living was established in 1994 by husband and wife team, Stéphane and Louise Luiggi.
Stéphane, from the beautiful French island of Corsica, wanted to bring the French passion for food and eating to the UK, and so opened a shop in Nottingham. A restaurant in the basement was launched in 1996, continuing the theme of French living through the enjoyment of good, honest, quality food.
Today French Living is more than a shop and a restaurant. It offers advice on how to cook, eat and shop the French way and provides an informal and relaxed environment to shop, eat, chat and even practice your French. French Living continues to be family run and so maintains a high level of service and commitment to offering the highest quality products from France.
